Image from the James Webb Space Telescope of the star labeled 2MASS J17554042+6551277 as part of the telescopes calibration and alignment. There is a bright red star at the center of the image with lines radiating out. Although the star is the focus of the image, the telescopes sensors also picked up other galaxies and stars in the background.
